Web Developer (HTML/CSS/JS/PHP/MySQL)
We are looking to hire a full-time web developer to take on the following responsibilities:- Create new and amend existing landing pages and web sites;
- Create new and develop enhancements to existing PHP/MySQL-based applications;
- Periodically assist customers with support issues by e-mails.
Additional tasks may include:
- Interacting with clients to determine their needs for new, or changes to existing, web sites;
- Executing changes requested in a timely fashion;
- Interacting with other developers (in-house and contracted) to complete changes;
- Coding web sites and landing pages based on provided creative files;
Requirements:
- Fluency in written and oral English is required to interact with other team members and clients;- Very strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL, and a solid background in programming logic;
- Strong knowledge of advanced HTML 4.0 to code web sites and templates for CMS-type applications;
- Strong knowledge of CSS and AJAX to assist in the coding of web pages;
- Ability to resolve issues with existing web applications and pages.
Knowledge of other programming languages and environments (Java, Flash, VB, C, etc.), is an asset. While graphic/creative talent is not a requirement, candidates should be able to use Photoshop, without difficulty, to work with existing creative, and make minor changes that may be necessary (slicing, image resizing, etc.).
